The dental super app
Everything but the drilling.
- No dictation and no audio, ever.
- No patient identifiers in clinical notes (referral letters and leaflet sending excepted).
- Saved notes are encrypted and held in London, UK. Your PMS stays the patient record.

Four jobs you used to do in four places.
01 · Notes
50 templates, checked before you copy.
Tap through section by section; each answer collapses to its note line. Bulletproof flags what's missing, like an unconfirmed correct site, before the note leaves Nosht. Paste it into Dentally, SOE Exact, R4 or any PMS.
02 · Patient leaflets
The right leaflet, sent before they leave.
The note suggests one of 68 plain-English leaflets. Send it by email or SMS from the same screen, once the patient has agreed.
03 · Clinical tools
Doses and protocols, a click away.
14 clinical tools, including LA doses, perio staging, NHS bands and emergency protocols. Pick the agent and weight and the limiting factor is spelled out.
LA doses on Pro; emergency protocols free for everyone.
04 · Finance hub
Your books, in four fields.
Log UDAs, private fees and lab costs at the end of the day. Earnings and a running tax estimate keep up on their own.
On Pro.
Made by a dental therapist, for the whole team.
Therapists and hygienists see the templates in their scope first: 22 by default for therapists, 17 for hygienists, with the rest one switch away. The Scope of Practice Checker is in the same app.

“The appointment isn't finished when the patient leaves — it's finished when the note is written. And the note is the only witness you get to keep.”

Before you start the trial.
Why do you need my card?
3-day free trial for new subscribers. Card required; cancel before your 3-day trial ends and you won't be charged. Your plan's features unlocked from day one. Want to look first? The live demo needs no account and no card.
Does it work with my practice software?
Nosht writes the note; one click copies it as plain text to paste into Dentally, SOE Exact, R4 or any other PMS. Nothing to install or integrate.
Where are my notes kept?
Nosht does store the notes and drafts you save, plus your account details and template preferences, encrypted and held in London, UK. See our Privacy Policy for how long they are kept; your PMS remains the patient record.
Does it record the appointment?
No. There is no dictation and no audio. You tap through the template; optional AI shorthand fill on Pro works from text you type, and you review every field.
What is included in Solo and Pro?
Solo is £9.99 a month and includes 50 clinical templates, Concise & Bulletproof modes, one-click copy to any PMS, patient leaflets and notes history. Pro is £19.99 a month and adds optional Nosht AI shorthand fill (4 templates), prescribing references, Finance Hub, consent checklists, CPD Logger and priority support. The clinical pearls and emergency protocols are free for everyone. Compare the plans.
What does it cost after the trial?
Solo is £9.99/month and Pro is £19.99/month, including any VAT. No VAT is charged: Nosht Limited is not VAT-registered. Paying yearly? Solo is £99/year and Pro is £199/year. Your plan renews automatically each month or year until you cancel in Settings → Account.
Does Nosht replace my PMS?
No. Nosht sits alongside it: you build the structured note in Nosht, then copy it into Dentally, SOE Exact, R4 (Carestream) or any other PMS. Nosht isn't your patient record system. Nosht's note templates are built around clinical descriptors, not patient demographics, but a few fields can hold patient details: the Referral Letter's patient section, a child's guardian name, the short initials you can add as a note label or referral reminder, and a patient's email or mobile number when you send a leaflet. Any free-text box holds whatever you type, so use initials and times, not full names.
Can I get a refund?
Card required; cancel before your 3-day trial ends and you won't be charged. After that, cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund part-used periods except where the law requires it — see the Terms.
How do the templates map to GDC and CGDent guidance?
Templates follow the GDC Standards for the Dental Team and CGDent (formerly FGDP(UK)) record-keeping guidance. Bulletproof Mode lists anything the record is missing (consent, doses, risks) before you copy. It checks completeness, not clinical judgement, and Nosht can't certify compliance: you remain responsible for the note. Nosht is independent and not endorsed by the GDC or CGDent.
Is patient data safe?
Nosht is registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ZC186303), stores your data in London, UK, and offers a Data Processing Agreement. Your clinical notes carry no patient identifiers. The exceptions are referral letters (patient name and date of birth) and sending a leaflet (the patient's email or phone number). Nosht isn't a patient record system: you paste the finished note into your PMS, which stays the record. See Security.
How much time will it actually save me?
It depends on your case mix. You tap choices instead of typing from memory, and Bulletproof Mode lists anything the record is missing before you copy, so nothing is left to write up at the end of the day. We don't publish a time figure. Time it yourself in the live demo, which needs no account.
Does Nosht AI train on my notes?
No. Nosht AI is optional and part of Pro. AI fill sends the shorthand you type; the completeness check sends the note text you've written. It is text only, never audio, and is designed to exclude patient identifiers. It goes to Anthropic's Claude through its API. Under our data-processing arrangement with Anthropic it is not used to train Anthropic's models, and it may be kept for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, then deleted. AI fill works on the filling, simple extraction, crown and inlay/onlay templates. More on Nosht AI.
What about hygienists and therapists?
Yes. Choose your role when you first sign in and Nosht shows the templates within your scope of practice; you can show every template in Settings → Display. Solo and Pro cost the same for every role. Nosht AI isn't available for hygienists yet. Templates for hygienists and therapists.
HMRC Making Tax Digital?
Not yet. Nosht is not currently listed by HMRC as Making Tax Digital software and does not file VAT. Pro includes the Finance Hub, on the web and the iPhone app: log income, expenses and mileage and see an indicative tax estimate; submit through your accountant or HMRC-listed software.
Solo £9.99/month. Pro £19.99/month. Three days to try either.
Card required; cancel before your 3-day trial ends and you won't be charged. Compare Solo and Pro.
